The shoppers
finished the National Super League Zone A 2014 edition in the second position
behind Posta Rangers and were promoted to the top tier by Football Kenya Federation,
after the latter proposed an increase in the league teams, from 16 to 18.
The promotion was however left in limbo after Kenya Premier
League Limited maintained that only 16 teams would take part in the league.
League experience
Despite the uncertainty surrounding the league they will
feature in this season, they have gone for league experience and have so far confirmed
the signing of Shaban Odhoji, who joins from Top Fry AllStars.
They are also on the verge of signing John Amboko from
Nairobi City Stars, Ivans Anguyo from Ushuru FC, John Leftie Njoroge from
Sofapaka as well as AFC Leopards striker, Noah Wafula, who have been training
with the team for the last one week.
