The world of football has seen a number of great players;
however among them, two stick out. Though they share a name and employer (at different times), they each
have their uniqueness. From their generations to style of play they are
different in every way.
Dubbed the phenomenon, Ronaldo Luís Nazário de Lima won the FIFA World Player of the Year
three times: a record which in his playing days he shared with the then team
mate Zinadine Zidane. He also collected the Ballon d'Or two times. However he
failed to match the record held by Zidane and Michel Platini of winning the
trophy three times.
Cristiano Ronaldo dos
Santos Aveiro is a more than the phenomenon. Regarded as one of the all time best
footballers in the world alongside rival Lionel Messi, he has matched de Lima’s
record of three FIFA World Player of the Year winning it three times. He has
gone ahead and won the Ballon d'Or thrice with the latest coming in 2015. In
2014 he also won the UEFA best player of the year award.
With this it is fair to say that Christiano is
better than Delima.
