It now seems FKF and KPL have decided
to solve their 2015 league preparations the Kenyan way after both
parties differed on how many teams should be included in the league.
KPL says that only 16 teams should be participating in the
tournament, something that FKF has opposed wanting two extra teams
included to add up to 18.
Due to this differences which the two
bodies have not managed to resolve, this season may have two leagues
running with FKF releasing their 18 team match fixtures the same
time KPL have released their 16 teams fixtures. FKF league
will keep off on the 14th Feb this year while that one of KPL kicking
off 21st of the same month.
This may not be very new to football
fans in the country as the same thing was repeated in 2007 where we
had two leagues in one season.
Both parties say that they have
sponsors but is this the right way to solve management differences?
And before solving the differences who came up with the 18 teams
suggestion because they were 16 from a long time ago?
Wondering which league to follow and
which winners to celebrate am also wondering of who will bring sanity
in the Kenyan football league.
