KPL matches put on hold |
Kenyan
Premier League Limited has postponed it’s weekend matches, following the court
order acquired by Football Kenya Federation to halt the matches.
This was confirmed on the official league portal
through a post that confirmed the case would be heard on Tuesday 3 March.

“The Kenyan Premier League would like to
announce that matches slated for this weekend, Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1
March have been put on hold until further notice in obedience of a High Court
order.”
“KPL
went to the High Court on Tuesday seeking to set aside the ex parte orders granted by the same court on
February 20, 2015 stopping the league matches.”
“Judge
Mbogholi Msagha directed that the KPL application together with the one filed
by Football Kenya Federation be heard on March 3, 2015 in the High Court of
Kenya in Nairobi”, read the post.

In other football news, FKF Premier League will continue this weekend. On Saturday, Modern Coast Rangers will host Ligi Ndogo,
Bidc United welcome St. Joseph while Kariobangi Sharks will play away to West Kenya.
On Sunday, Zoo Kericho will host Oserian, Agrochemicals face off with Nairobi Stima while FC Talanta will host Finlays Horticulture.
