The 2015 Kenyan Premier League
(KPL) kicked off over the weekend despite a court order obtained by Football Kenya Federation to stop
the league from kicking off and a total of seven matches were played; four on
Saturday 21 February and three on Sunday 22 February.

On Saturday at the City Stadium, Western Stima
registered a 2-0 win over KCB with Gor
Mahia emerging victorious in a six-goal thriller, beating a resilient Mathare
United 4-2.

three players bagging a brace each, Ali Hassan Abondo, Michael Olunga (Gor
Mahia) and Noah Abich (Mathare United).
In other Saturday matches, visitors SoNy
Sugar stunned Ulinzi Stars 2-0 at the Afraha Stadium while wasteful Tusker
registered a one-all draw with Thika United at the Thika Municipal Stadium

On Sunday, AFC Leopards were forced to
settle for a barren draw with Chemelil Sugar at the Afraha Stadium, Bandari
registered a 3-1 win over Muhoroni at Mbaraki Stadium while Sofapaka came from
a goal down to see off Ushuru 2-1.
