Kenyan
Premier League (KPL) Limited was handed a huge boost on Monday 16 March when the
Kenyan High Court threw out a court injunction obtained by Football Kenya
Federation barring KPL from running the top tier league.
In a case presided over by Lady Justice
Roselyne Aburili, the court lifted the injunction it had issued about three
weeks ago, an injunction that halted the league matches.

In her ruling, Lady Justice Aburili said that
FKF, which is a registered, society cannot sue or be sued in it’s own name and
the only way they could sue is if officials instituted legal proceedings on
behalf of the organization. The court however urged the two warring bodies to
find an out of court solution to the matter.
