The Kenyan Premier League (KPL)
weekend action was highlighted by draws, as only three teams registered wins
and the pitting Kenyans giants AFC Leopards and Gor Mahia was also in the draw
mix.
The clash that is
the biggest derby in the country, pitting the two most successful clubs was the
key highlight in the sixth round of matches and it ended in a one-all draw.

streak to an end, registering a 3 – 1 win away to Nakuru AllStars.
On Saturday 11 April, SoNy Sugar shook off
the loss to AllStars to register a 1-0 win over Bandari FC 1 – 0 as Thika
United beat Western Stima 1-0.
City Stars wins first point
In the weekend’s first match, Nairobi City
Stars finally collected their first win of the season, drawing with Chemelil
Sugar. Tusker FC dropped points again, after their 2-2 draw away to Muhoroni
Youth, Ushuru FC rallied from a goal down to settle for a one-all draw with Ulinzi
Stars while Mathare United and KCB played out to a barren draw.
