<p>Dr. Myles Munroe must have been hinting on his eventuality in his final messages around the world. The Bahamian pastor founded the Bahamas Faith Ministries International Fellowship and had created a worldwide following with his charismatic preaching and he appeared to have been anticipating his own death in a 2003 sermon.</p>
<p>“The value of life is not in its<br>
duration, but in its donation. You<br>
are not important because of how<br>
long you live, you are important<br>
because of how effective you live.</p>
<p>And most people are concerned about growing old rather than being effective," Munroe said.<br>
"The people who have impacted the<br>
world didn't live long. Martin Luther King . John F. Kennedy. These people who impact the world were not old people, but they lived so effectively that we cannot erase them from history,” he said.<br>
Munroe frequently exhorted his<br>
congregation to live a life of<br>
purpose.<br>
“You weren't born just to live a life and to die, you were born to<br>
accomplish something specifically,” he said in that 2003 sermon.<br>
“Matter of fact, success is making it to the end of your purpose, that is success. ... Success is not just existing, success is making it to the end of why you were born.”</p>
<p>In a different sermon, Munroe<br>
hammered home the importance of a life's work.<br>
“<b> </b><b>The greatest tragedy in life is not </b><b>death, but a life without a</b><br>
<b>purpose,”</b> he said.</p>
<p>Did he see it coming? Either way, he trully made an impact an his story will continue to change lives.</p>

<b>THE NEED FOR GOVERNMENT </b><br>
The number one challenge of the<br>
world today is dissatisfaction with government. Millions of citizens all over the world are rising up in protests of the governing authorities of their nations demanding transparency, fairness, honesty, equal opportunity, Social justice, security, protection, and political purity. The level of suspicion and<br>
distrust of political leaders, local and international corporations,<br>
institutions and religious organizations add to an atmosphere of intolerance that ends in constant social unrest.</p>
<p>Words used to describe<br>
today's governments include corrupt, incompetent, greedy, selfish, dishonest, confused, misguided, oppressive, careless,<br>
uncompassionate, and self serving. In recent times many governments have been the instigators of civil war among their own citizens turning the<br>
machinery of law enforcement and<br>
the military on the very people they were elected to serve and protect.</p>
<p>The conclusion and reality of the<br>
global assessment of twenty first<br>
century governments is that the<br>
institutions that were elected to<br>
solve problems have become the<br>
problem. The result has been an ever increasing sprit of disillusionment among most citizens of nation in both developed and developing nations. </p>
<p>In essence winning the reins of<br>
government is one thing but<br>
governing is another. The indisputable evidence is that<br>
people everywhere in every nation<br>
desire and searching for the perfect government, one who genuinely cares for the welfare of the citizen, loves justice, protect the value of human dignity and worth, hates corruption, dedicated protecting the traditional spiritual values and moral and is faithful to the ideals of equality, fairness, compassion, and opportunity.</p>
<p>This desire for the perfect<br>
government is inherent in the human spirit and is the result of the fall of mankind. The creation narrative in the book of Genesis records the creator conferring on mankind the privilege of Dominion over earth. The word dominion, Radah, is translated as "Kingdom Governing Authority"' thus giving man the first government system on earth called THE KINGDOM OF GOD. The concept of Government was created and introduced by the<br>
Creator and is defined as the<br>
institutional system that overseesthe dispensing of the constitutional legal rights, privileges, protections, resources, and responsibilities of the nation in the best interest on the citizen.</p>
<p>THE KINGDOM OF GOD is therefore<br>
the first heavenly Government<br>
institution of God dispensing His will and justices for mankind on earth. This is what mankind enjoyed in the Garden of Eden and lost in the fall.</p>
<p>This is the source of the unquenchable hunger and thirst in<br>
the spirit of all humans for perfect Government- a government that dispenses the standards, values, morals, nature, qualities and culture of heaven on earth expressed in the concepts of LOVE, JOY, and PEACE and RIGHTEOUSNESS. These words are the essence of the KINGDOM GOVERNMENT OF HEAVEN.</p>

Speaking of relationships, there will always be a choice. We
choose who we want to be with either arbitrary or following some set of
guidelines we have received from whoever while growing up. Well, I may choose
to dwell on the positives of a friendship, or the negatives.  On the positive, I will liken partners in a
relationship with flowers, or some good animal or even some delicious fruit.
But for today I am on the negatives of a relationship. “But why, come to think
of it, would one dwell on the negative side of life in the modern world of
positive thinking for increased expectations?” may be you can guess the guy is
heartbroken, or desperate and hates relationships for that.  </div>

Not really, I have two definite reasons for dwelling on the
negative. One may be to use one of my friend’s phrases; it is because I am a
poor man, with a poor heart and a poor man’s mind. Jesus! Don’t take this for
real; he uses this phrase to describe any writing that criticizes anything.
Anyway, the reason is because the story I want tell I overheard it in a
conversation between drunkards. You heard me right. Sober men fear reality,
mathematics, sciences, and business and anything close to real, they don’t want
to face it in a conversation often. And that is why I like stories from drunken
men, because they talk experience, and experience is real. Unlike sober men who
will always dwell on the soft things. I almost vomited the other Sunday when I overheard
two soft-hearted men talk about a wedding they had seen on T.V.  True sons of the soil are told to harden so
that they can face troubles courageously, expel fear, and never to bother
stepping their foot on cow dug or the waste of sheep. </div>

The guy must have been from a broken relationship from the
way he told the story passionately. He caught my ears from the football game I was
watching when he said all partners in a relationship, on the negative are like
thorns. You see, when a thorn pricks you, there are two pains from which you
can choose from. One, you can choose to sit down, take some deep breaths amidst
the pain, hold a razor on the spot where the thorn is, close your eyes, gnash
your teeth then cut deeply until the thorn is exposed. After that, you can
immediately pull the thorn out and put some salt on the wound so that you don’t
lose much blood. The second pain, you may decide to stay with the thorn in your
foot till it rots and come out deliberately. You won’t feel much pain, but at least
you will experience minimum pain for a month or two, and withstand the embarrassment
of limping in public because you are not bold enough to have a thorny cut out of
your rotting foot.  </div>

He probably would have finished the story. But unfortunately,
one team scored. He must have been supporting the other one. He walked out
irritated then came back again, still shaking his head in disagreement. The other
friend of his was standing on his sit, jumping up and down in celebration. When
they settled after the goal drama, this guy tells the narrator, </div>

commandments say “Do not steal” so where are we or our so called pastors

to God what belongs to God and to Caesar(The tax man) what belongs to Caesar with

call themselves the right to steal from us while hiding under the same blanket
and helping to tarnish the name of the genuine men of God, men (and women) God
has set aside to serve Him and lead His people to Him.</span></div>

is anything that will give us hope for the next day and hope that all will be
well but does it have to come at a price?</span></div>

in church but what I am saying is that our dear pastors should not take
advantage of our desperate need to finding hope to live by to rob from us (without

I am fascinated by the acts of one Pastor Kanyari that
everyone is talking about. After being exposed, I heard, and these were only
rumors, he too gave a list of other pastors with the same tendencies to falsify
miracles. Mine was there too; I won’t mention him/her though.  And it was embarrassing, I have lived to
avoid my friends since the outbreak of this news.  Maybe to let you know, we have for long
disputed about God’s power to heal, and maybe perform a miracle today. Many of
my friends think that a miracle was a thing of the old that doesn’t exist in
the modern world. I also believed so before my pastor convinced me that the God
of then is still the God of today, and what He did then He could still deliver
this day.</div>

But having been exposed is yet to be an enough prove to
reject the hypothesis of miracles. What it has done is shift the discussion to
another level. We have moved from the discussion of to believe or not in a
miracle, to one in which we ask ourselves whether only miracles justify God’s
existence. This is true because, if you go through many of the comments on the
social media, you will single out majority who have rushed to conclude that the
whole matter of faith, religion is a misty illusion. For one, we have to
question the faith of this Kanyari and some other pastors who claim to perform
miracles. This way, we will avoid picking people who are not religious as case
studies of the tendencies of Christianity.  Secondly, the best alternative to religion is
science, but science has too failed to deliver in many fields, but the tolerant
we have not rushed to reject the assertions of science. So please, before you
point a finger, give has a firm and better foundation of the origin and purpose
of the universe besides science and religion. </div>

With all the talent we have in the arts, it’s a shame that we only have one or two notable movie releases in a year. But with that said, it seems that lately when movie makers decide to make a good movie, they go ALL OUT.</p>
<p dir=ltr>Kenya has long been a popular destination for filmmakers with the readily accessible wildlife, spectacular landscapes and traditional cultures making it the perfect cinematic setting for a range of productions including the Academy Award winning Out of Africa, the real-life murder mystery White Mischief, and, more recently, To walk with the lions, the biopic of famed conservationist George Adamson.<br>
Other productions include 14 Million Dreams (2003), 6000 km di paura (1978), Haba na Haba (2013), The baisikol ( 1997), Balloon Safari (1975), Boran Herdsmen (1974), Boran Women (1974), The First Grader (2010), Flip Flotsam (2003), Forest Chainsaw Massacre (2006), From a Whisper (2008), Nangos (2009), Nairobi Half Life (2012), Rise and Fall of Idi Amin (1981), The Rugged Priest (2011), Saïkati (1999), Shuga (TV series) (2009), Something Necessary (2013),The Stigma (2007) just to mention a few.</p>

<p dir=ltr>The local film industry generates employment, fosters economic activity and preserves the nation’s culture. It also is an avenue of transferring morals and values and contributes to the evolution of social and democratic processes.</p>
<p dir=ltr>It is also a useful tool of tapping artistic energies of creative Kenyans, and a vehicle for diversification of exports as local films can be marketed in other countries. The money spent in the local economy during location filming has been a major boost in creating employment.</p>
