in the media including Social media about their fake certificates
after NTV exposed the college for issuing certificates to students
without stepping their feet in class.</div>

their education standards and even the students attacking Nation
Centre destroying property accusing the Media house of damaging the
institution's reputation.</div>

the college and the media house,touring my facebook wall I met this
update from a  friend;</div>

is a truth abt nairobi aviation college.when i enrolled for a diploma
in aeronautical engineering i was surprised to find young men with
funny diplomas teaching the course..based in downtown nairobi,4th
floor, sandwiched between a cinema, a bar, a church,and some hotel, i
found it amusing as i expected otherwise.we would take long walks to
Wilson airport just to see planes, that was the practical.then the
school started advertising in the dailies "admission in
progress, intake ongoing", .new students would join us every
day. i dropped after a semester though and i dont regret.i am worried
though that i will one day board a plane only for the pilot to
announce ,"my name is captain jack from nairobi aviation college
and im going to fly with you to the UK"</i></span><br />

<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: small;">I got interested and conversed with the guy just to <span style="font-size: small;">assure</span> me i<span style="font-size: small;">t is <span style="font-size: small;">a true story, he even confirmed to me that he joined the school in May 2006 and <span style="font-size: small;">dropped <span style="font-size: small;">out August t<span style="font-size: small;">he <span style="font-size: small;">same year.</span></span></span></span></span></span></span><i> </i></span></div>

later after reading this, The Civil Aviation Authority has come out
to clear the air sating that Nairobi Aviation College is not
authorized to offer Aviation courses promising to investigate the
aviation courses offered in the institution. </span>

It might not be the flying car we have always been dreaming
of, but the era of self-driving cars is upon us. Although Google was the first
one to work on this concept, other companies like Tesla, Audi, Mercedes-Benz
and more recently, Uber, have also ventured to come up with self-driving cars. With
all these companies pitching in, trying to make the autonomous car a reality, it
is predicted that by 2020, people will be ‘driving,’ well more like sitting
behind self-driving cars. In fact, in December 24<sup>th</sup> 2014, Google revealed
its first finished prototype and although it is a long way from being viable,
it is a step towards a future of autonomous cars.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Kenya is no stranger to road accidents. In Kenya, between
3000 and 13,000 people lose their lives in car accidents every year. Fortunately,
with self-driving car technology, this number is likely to decrease significantly.
The main goals for autonomous cars are increased on-road safety and reduced accidents.
Self-driving are fixed with complex state of the art technology including detailed
mapping of programmed travel routes, sensory equipment and controls that recognize
all known and newly encountered obstacles <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>both stationary and moving objects. In
addition, the car’s operating systems allows for controlled braking,
accelerating, steering, making this method substantially more efficient and
safer than manually driven cars. </div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Still, despite all this progress, the question is, are
people really ready to let go of the wheel? <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>By nature, Africans are highly suspicious
people, especially when it comes to new technology. When it comes to new technology,
majority of us sit back and wait to see how it goes before we try it ourselves.
It is one thing to drive an automatic car, but to ask a typical African to get
behind a car that is moving by itself... that will be a great challenge. In
fact, it is most likely that for the first decade after the commercialization of
autonomous vehicles, most Africans will still prefer a half blind driver over a
self-driving vehicle. However, it is not to say that Africans are unreasonably suspicious
because the potential dangers of self-driven vehicles are real, such as your
self-driven car being hacked, an unexpected malfunction and such. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>The nature of a typical African is just one of
the reasons implementation of autonomous cars will be slow in many African
nations. Still, the potential advantages are numerous. We just need a few brave
fellow Africans to try it and perhaps after a few prayers, we will also be
willing to let go of the wheel. </div>

testing positive for a performance enhancing drug. Athletics Kenya,
the body that governs the running sport in the country announced that
it tested the marathoner positive for erythropoietin(EPO), a popular
performance enhancing drug.</div>

Jeptoo who is 33 years old was to be
crowned the best marathoner in the world in 2014 by the World
Marathon Majors after winning the Boston Marathon three times and the

While on an interview with Oprah last year; Kevin Hart, a popular  American stand up comedian, tell of how he started out after convincing his mother to help him out. His mother did agree to help him with the rent for one year; after six months he hadn't paid his rent, almost being evicted, and no rent from mom. He turns to his mum who had only one question for him "Have you read your Bible?"<br />

The story is quite similar to what many of us have heard before of a boy who had asked his wealthy father for a specific kind of car as a graduation present. On his graduation his dad gave him a Bible, angry and disappointed he leaves home asking himself "with all that dad has all he could give me is a Bible?" Years go by and his father passes on, finally he decides to open the Bible and on opening it was the key to the specific car he had asked for and the address to where to pick it.<br />
Now many of us we are like that with our Heavenly Father we ask from Him so much yet we don't want to listen to Him, where He communicates to us; in the Bible.<br />
Your Bible today may not have rent, keys to a car you want or a cheque to start a business that you want to start but it does have more that that.<br />
